Its authors are practitioners and researchers who are specialised and reknown in this field of work. It covers topics from the anatomy and biomechanics of the knee and patella, the various aetiologies and pathologies of the knee and patella, and treatment of the conditions. Related aspects like radiography and electromyography are also covered. What is really attractive about this book is it is based on research evidence, which have been up-to-date, and includes lists of references, and many illustrations. It is a comprehensive, pertinent and readable overview of the patella disorders and their managements that allows one to further explore areas of interests using the references.
