An approach that works - Practical learning

I prefer to be more hands-on with my learning. Most of the other SQL books I've come across are dry and tiresome to read, and as a result, I find it difficult to retain the skills they are trying to impart. This book take an entirely different approach by presenting real, practical SQL learning opportunities in an easy to follow and easy to practice format. The great thing about this type of book is that you can jump right in and feel confident from the start that you can and will be able to master the material. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a SQL reference or learning tool.

All-in-one practical SQL guide

Great resource for SQL enthusiasts, beginners and everything in between. I've purchased many different books on SQL, but all except for this one are lacking practical examples & thats a shame when practice is what makes perfect*! These queries put SQL in context and ensure I refine my skills and have an actual resources to tackle specific challenges as they arise. Thanks for the knowledge!

Thanks for developing my SQL skills

I am new to SQL and before this I only read books on SQL. This is the first book that gave me actual queries to try. Just doing the beginners challenges have helped to develop me skills a lot fast than the SQL class I paid for. I highly recommend this for people trying to enhance or just starting out with SQL.
